Just finished shoveling and my back is killing me. This was shot with my trusty little G9. Great carry around camera. I will most likely do a post about my equipment at some point but the G9 is a super camera for quick grab shots. It has full manual control and will take external flash so it can actually be creative. Oddly I used the built in snow scene setting for this shot. I almost always shoot manual or aperture priority. But on a whim I tried this and was pretty darned surprised as to how well it handled what can be a very difficult setting (snow).
This sucked.....

This is a quick test to see if I could put a video into the blog. I used my Flip for this and it picked up the door squeaking as I opened it and the background music from the TV. Not sure what the music is but it seems pretty good for this shot.
