Cherry Blossoms…

I believe this was in 07. Nice view across the tidal basin to a row of cherry trees…

George’s kitchen…

Another shot from Mt. Vernon. this is the kitchen where the slaves would prepare the food…

Happy 4’th…

I spent mine painting :(. I have the ceiling and the trim done and pulled the base boards. Taped the trim and will paint the walls tomorrow as I am now heading out for a beer or ten :).

A side note for people into photography the work lights I am using that you see here make good lights to shoot in a pinch. they get hot but they work, This set of two with the tripod can be found at Home Depot on sale fro $20. So that makes them worth it in a pinch. Oh yea, they work if you have to paint too….

Winning bike at the show this weekend…

Here is the winning bike from this weekends show. I think mine wins hands down with the addition I showed you a few days ago but whatever :)…

Storm…

I almost missed today’s post. My office is still without power from the storm and I worked from home. All was well until my power went out. It’s back now so life is good. I guess I should post some storm photos. These were taken on Rt. 1 in Laurel MD. Big time damage. The entore shopping center across the street is closed. This includes a Supermarket, Best Buy and Lowes….

Nice little addon to my bike :)…

Went to the bike show at Nuzbacks yesterday. I always take shit for not cleaning my bike. I found something to put on it that will eliminate anyone  noticing anymore…. Enjoy 🙂

Bogey & Birdie…

My 2 cats. The black one is Bogey and this is the only known pic of her. She is not very friendly and lives in the basement. I can pet her and pic her up once in a while but she likes to be on her own. She usually hides when I go into the basement. Birdie is a lap cat and a complete showoff. I have many pics of her but she is really not all that fond me taking them…

Edison And Ford place again.

They had Fords there as well. The cars I mean. This one is an old wooden truck. You would buy the chassis and build your truck body out of wood. Kinda cool. I don’t think MVA would let us get away with that today…

The prez’s ride…

Not quite like the bullet proof limos they use today. This is the actual carriage George Washington used to get around. It is on display in his garage at Mt. Vernon.

O’s fan of the day…

Here is another shot from Camden yards. They do some fan of ther day thing and this guy behind us was trying to win. they never saw him and gave it to some other lame person. I would have cropped this but my friend Tim is in the foreground and it came out pretty well so I left him…
