My Gear
Update:
I still love my Canon gear but have been bitten by the micro 4/3 bug. I now have a Panasonic Lumix G2 and a Canon FD adapter. Now all my old FD glass is usable and I have a ton of it. I can’t wait to get some shots posted from this setup….
Well, I am a Canon guy and went that route several years ago because at the time I believed they offered the best, largest lens selections. Currently I believe all manufacturers produce excellent equipment so there is not going to be any Canon is better snobbery around here. Even though I do love my Canon gear.
Current bodies: 1D Classic, 5D and 40D. The 5d and 40D have the battery grips. I also still have my trusty EOS3. I guess I’ll add the G9 here as well.
Lens list: 17~40 /4L, 24~70 /2.8L, 70~200 /4L, 400 /5.6L, 50 /1.4, 85 /1.8, 100 /2.8 macro, 100~300 /5.6L, 28 /2.8.
Strobist: I have the Canon 420EX and off camera cord. I also have several Nikon Speedlights for Strobist use.
Alien Bees: I have an AB1600, AB800 and ABR800 ring flash.
