Camden Yards…

I went to the yards for a game with the Nats on Sunday. I believe this clock has been there since the beginning which is now 20 years. I remember when they were building that place and it is hard to believe it has been 20 years. Even harder for me to believe is the H and the E light up to tell us if it is a hit or an error. In 20 years I did not know this until last week 🙂

Harper…

I shot this from the stands so it is a pretty heavy crop. I had an FD 135mm mounted on the G2 and it didn’t get close enough from where we were sitting. The  Nats lost in the 8th but it was a good game. Hotter than hell and sold out so it was sticky in there.

Washington Monument…

Grabbed this shot from the tidal basin area. It is a slightly different view than what is normally seen. OK, I am a lazy ass and should have photoshopped out the big light in the middle of the picture…. Oh well. Maybe next time 🙂

My palm tree and dead grass…

Here is a shot of one of my palm trees in Florida. The yard was dormant/dead at the time of year I took this.

Just playing…

You have to wait in line to get into the main building at Mt. Vernon. So while sitting there I decided to play around with the G2.

Another shot from Harpers Ferry WV…

I like this shot. It was taken from the other side of the tracks standing at the edge of the creek. Canon 1D with 14-40L. 1/80th at F22…

Georges house

I went to Mt. Vernon last summer with my Mom. I took this shot with the Panny G2 and kit lens. It was a very interesting place to visit. You can walk through the house but no pictures were allowed to be taken inside. The outside grounds were pretty amazing. I will post  a few more from this set in the coming days…

Field in PA…

I took a drive up to PA to go to a woodworking show and came across this field. It really looked like one of the default screen savers on my laptop that came with Windows 7. So I figured I would shoot this and replace it on the laptop.

The Old Man…

Ok, I wanted to post this yesterday for Fathers Day but like a nimrod I only had this file on my laptop which was locked away in my office at work. So a day late but what the heck. Sadly this is one of the few photos I have of my old man. We lost him way to early but still have the memories. Happy Fathers Day to all…

Mr. Edison

Another shot from the Ford/Edison Homestead. This statue of Edison is under the most amazing oak tree I have ever seen. Not like the big tall oaks we are used to but a sprawling maze of shoots that go into the ground. G9 1/60th @ F5/6…
